First crack out of the box with a work in progress tune, how can anyone with a N54 not be happy for this effort & the guys who made it happen.

Bottom line is they took some unfair hits in the forums but wow did they ever deliver big time or is it big numbers.

No, stock has decent power across the whole rev range including the first half of it where people spend 90% of their time in daily driving. Just compare these figures to stock in that part and you'll see the loss of power this kit suffers from. If someone though these being twins would make any major difference in spool/power relation, that is simply not true.

This is the most of turbo put on N54 and can make sense for a car that spends its life at a drag strip where you are never in the revs where you lose power with this kit. 5000rpm and drop the clutch

There's a lot of tuning left to be done yet and that can help to spool the turbos quite a bit.

Agree, the spooling issue is a red herring & a distraction from the success of the Stg 3 Package. One system has had over a year to dial in & the other looks real good on its first dyno run. There is a lot left on the table for the twin turbos.

Really looking to see what Stg 2 does on 93 since it looks to be more where I want to take my mods.

The twins are also sized to make more peak power than the singles are as well, which could have some effect on the spool.

None the less, for a first run and still having to do more fine tuning for things, this is good stuff. As you said, there is a lot left on the table for these twins.

At 3500 this car is making more power and torque then a stock car does...

totally agree....there had only been a few weeks of tuning on these...wait until everything is figured out, tweaked ECT. I can't wait to get a set of these.

No logs are available however i would assume that this time on the dyno was more about making sure things are where they should be and they have yet to start really getting it dialed in. On anything other than ACN they can definitely lean it out a bit and add some timing to help get those turbos spinning

I wonder if my ported head will shine with these? Lot of air flowing with these. These dialed in are going make the N54 a monster! M3, M5 & M6 killer!

What? He started the pull at 3200rpms and immediately made more HP/tq at the wheels than stock does at its peak rpms. I don't see his kit "suffering" from anything.

The people interested in this aren't looking at the amount of tq at 1500rpms.

I'm sure that a ported/built head would work wonders with this setup and combine that with the Renntech cams that are in the works and who knows what the possibillities are...
