Wow, you were suppose to fold and flatten clay out every couple minutes.
This keeps the clay surface cleaner and the dirt and gunk doesn't keep rubbing your paint.

Guess you know for next time though!

I found claying was much easier and faster after using Iron-X or TRIX from Car Pro

I hope you polish it... Claying in general does create some scratches on the car, in this case when the clay was that bad you're definitely scratching the car in some sense.

If you need help choosing out what polish you need just post the pictures of the swirls, state how was the car maintained, year, color, etc and we'll help you decide on what polish and pads to use. =)

JESUS CHRIST!! I was like "what the hell am I looking at?"

Mine is pretty clean when I do it. Only a few streaks near the lower sills.

That is insane. I have detailed many cars and have never seen a claybar look like that.

07 Jet Black and swirls I don't see any lol so not sure what to take picture of and I just tried probably because its in garage mayb it's like a mirror it won't show the scratches they are small in clear coat would Meguiars Polish work? And what pad? And paints in good shape other than the small scratches and the hood but that's another story

park it outside in the sunlight and look directly into where the sun is reflected off of the paint, thats where the swirls are hiding
