Some more reading. You are getting warmer, but first understand the advantages/disadvantages of the type of sub set-up you're planning on installing.

I thought at one time he made a subwoofer add on harness for HiFi but I'm not sure, so contact him. In the worst case you'll have to tap the OEM speaker wires and use a high quality line output converter.

Understand that the trunk is a bass trap. If you have a ski-pass or fold down seat, it will help a lot, if you can keep it open. If not, most of the energy from the sub will stay in the trunk and convert to vibrations/rattles of the trunk panels. Making the sub and amp bigger, to get more volume in the cabin, will just increase the rattles.

If you want it to sound good without rattles, you need to do more than trowing a box in the trunk. Read the link I gave you if you haven't done so already.

Definitely don't want to go against what Kaigoss is saying, but many here do say that the corner load enclosures sound very good even with a sealed trunk.

I have a 10" in a custom box under the trunk floor (inside that storage compartment and it also sounds great. I don't have fold down seats or a ski pass.

Finally, if you're set on using a 15", go with an IB setup, assuming the woofer you already have is suitable for that.

Nothing you said went against what I said. The corner enclosure is the second best option, after IB. It is definitely cleaner and more OEM looking than IB, and that's why many people like it. But there is a limitation....volume. A corner loaded sub can only get so loud until it runs out of steam. I always say if you are looking for something to complement the OEM system and fill the bottom two octaves, it is perfect for that. But if you want more volume to overpower the OEM system, or to keep up with an aftermarket system, then you may need to look at other options.

my corner enclosure with 10" sub is loud enough to bassrace a 129.9, which is pretty good volume out of a 10 in a trunk on under 1kw

Its all in the enclosure build and the type of sub used. A pure sq sub isnt going to get loud.
