Wow, emmmmm....... you can only pull this off if your ride has a more aggressive appearance, not like that. But hey as long as you dig it....

My car is "modified," and I don't think it's THAT bad. It needs a drop, because it looks worse when you can actually see where the light is coming from. It could also stand to be a tad bit whiter.
I've actually seen underbody lights on bentley continental GT and it looked good, so I think the whole "but it's a classy car" argument is weak. Seriously, e90post likes to jump on people for everything. I enjoy it. It's like having a bunch of angry siblings. If you stay around, you'll eventually jump in and e-gangbang everyone with a sub-500 post count. Back in the day, I put the first silver TE-37s on a E92 and there were plenty of people on the "how could you put those jap-rice wheels on your bmw"... there are dozens of us now that thoroughly enjoy every "bent wheel thread." You have to take the crookeds with the straights on e90post. Go hard or go home. Edit: but you really DO need to open up some picture editing software and shrink those pics. Seriously. right click the jpeg icon--> open with -> microsoft office picture edit--> edit picture --> resize--> preferably something 800x600 and under.

OP, don't listen to all the negative feedback. Honestly, if you like it, that's all that counts. Don't let what other people say bother you.
I myself wouldn't do it to my car, but like I said, as long as you like it, enjoy it! Trust me, people make fun of the color of my car all the time. But I could care less what they think. Everyone has their own opinions. And guys, if you don't have anything nice to say, please don't post. If you dislike his mod, just say you don't like it. No need to make negative comments and make fun.

Props for doing something different, but please resize your pics. Just Google "infranview" and you'll have a free photo editor.

You people love to be a part of the crowd and not be unique.
That's what makes the majority of the society BORING. The only people that stand out are obviously the unique and different ones. For example: Example 1 All cars had regular headlights with one bulb reflecting off a mirror. Then BMW came out with the halo rings, and since BMW came up with it, everyone bent over and was willing to take a foot long from BMW just to have them. If BMW never came up with the halos, but instead a member invented them, I'm sure people would scream out "rice...gay...queer", and all your other immature comments. Example 2 All cars had regular door handles and other than a side reflector, or a turn signal on the mirror, nothing special on the side of the car as far as lighting goes. Then BMW came up with illuminated door handles and called it a "puddle light", which actually lights up almost the whole side of the car, and now people love to show it off, and other car are trying to copy it. Now if a member came up with the door handle lights, all hell would break loose because they are trying to be unique and BMW did not create it. It's a damn white light under your car, just like your lights under your doors and on the door handles. Breathe in and get the sand out of your vaginas... "sell your car right now" PS. I would not put these on my car because I don't think they are worth it, but at the same time, I would not put lights on my door handles either, if my car did not come with them. Oh yea, my car has a red strip of light running throughout the interior too...also invented by BMW. Imagine the shit I would get if I was the one that invented that. |
