What's the lifespan on our 335 control arms? I'll hopefully be getting BC coils at the end of the summer and some wheels and am interested in m3 arms as well but my car only has 50k on it. Worth upgrading now or should I wait until they actually wear out more?

Yup. Do a search. You'll see the trw arms basically shave off the ///M badging.

Another +1 on this upgrade. I did it at 60k miles when my stock bushings started leaking. I got the OE parts from Tischer for $500 (slightly more than the grinded TRW parts). I've got 12k miles on the upgrade with zero problems.

The upgrade improves handling, steering feel and importantly MORE EVEN FRONT TIRE WEAR. With the stock parts, unless you drive like granny, you'll wear out your outside shoulder on the front tires while still having good usable tread on the rest of the tire.

Note: I am NOT on runflats.

Control Arms vs. Just getting M3 Ball Joints

31102283577
31102283578

You can get the TRW OEM arm kit and headlight leveler for under $400 (same exact arms as those with M3 stamp on them, the M3 logo in many cases can be still seen on the TRW arms). Or you can get the BMW arms for significantly more $
solishe

so the Control Arms are the Same ; Correct ?

If so is only really necessary to replace the Ball Joints in the Control Arms
so just upgrade to the Upgraded M3 Ball Joints ?

From what I understand the M3 Ball Joints are 1 Piece and are much more reliable

Thanks

Edit: Actually I don't think you can order just the Ball Joints on Front from FCP Euro I was looking at their site.. but it was for the Rear not the Front
