Pretty sure that evo 8 will take you for a walk in the park.

As for the type r, type r what?? Is it a K or a B?

Type R = LOL.

22psi on the Evo means nothing without knowing what turbo. 22psi on stock turbo = LOL. 22psi on a GTX4202 = uh oh.

Civics can be pretty fast. I saw one guy at the track last time I went there, civic sir turbo, around 320-340 whp...11,3 ET quarter miles with about no traction off the line...looked like it was all crap, but it was just fckin fast.

If you go from the dig, and the EVo driver knows how to drive. He will take you from a dig and it will be a catch up game. Is the EVO FBO as well? The type R is a hit or miss, depending on what is done to the motor. You should be able to walk the Type R without any problems. EVO is the one to watch out from.

It's all about how honest those guys are being, and when they are after your money, they probably aren't. Like others said, there are a million factors from mods, to driver error, and anything in between.

FWIW a stock turbo Evo at 22 lbs and stock weight and motor will probably not keep up with an FBO 335i. And integra type R is downright slow, unless well modded, so if he's running his mouth and Throwin money around, it's probably not stock.

Need more info on the type r, people here are laughing but they can be downright nasty all motor - 300whp is a walk in the park nowadays and thats enough for low 10's high 9's all day long in those cars with weight reduction. I've seen k20 swapped EG civics making tuned E9X 335i's look downright slow.

The honda has no chance on this planet. There are few all motor hondas that will pace an Evo in daily driver trim. If its a built motor built built built there might be a fun race. Other than the that the best quote is the few walmarts will be the margin.

This.

If it's just a stock ITR or CTR then you won't have much problem. If it's a 12:1comp iall motor B18 in a gutted EF or CRX then you may get your headlights sucked out. The EVO all depends on if the guy is BSing you. If it is stock turbo from a roll you'll have no problem, if it's an FP red, black or 35R you're probably losing your money.

Just do a run for fun and see what happens, there are FAR too many "what would happen if I ran ..." threads

22 Psi on stock turbo evo 8 is slow (280-300whp). Probably traps 103-105 at best. But keep in mind, they have stock "frame" turbo's pushing nearly 500WHP with the right turbo, and do you really know its 22 psi?

There are some really quick evo's and a lot of them play the "i have a stock turbo" game, my one buddy does it to people all the time, and he has 500WHP and 500TQ, then again it never runs as its always breaking something, but thats besides the point haha.

All motor type r? Define all motor, bored and stroked, or just full bolt ons and maybe a cam?

So, if the evo is really 22 psi, and really a stock turbo you're fine.

If the Type R is just a type r with full bolt ons, you are also fine.

With the confidence of laying down money, someone is usually lying.

I highly doubt the evo is on stock turbo...many evo owners who run for money say this but are on turbos like fp blacks and will walk you

When I had my evo VIII, I was stock turbo, tuned at 22.5psi will bolt ons - cams, exhaust, intake. I ended up putting down 370 awhp.

It could easily destroy my 335is, then again it's a E93 with only a Cobb AP.

Stock motor or a built 2.3-2.4 liter?

370 sound super inflated. What was the stock power. Typically an Evo 8 with FBO and Cam can make 325-335WHP, if you add meth you can usually see another 30WHP at best. These are very high numbers for stock turbo and at that point most people opt in for a better stock frame turbo cause the top end of the stock turbo is for the birds.

The thread starter should be right at 390WHP with his modifications, and trapping a solid 115.

If there is one thing I do know, The evo 8 will still give any car a good run from a dig, 20 roll, or 40 roll, I know I had a run in with one when I was about 400WHP, and he got the jump on me hard from a 40 roll, it took me till 120 to catch up and pass him, but that was my bad on the driving.

Edit- I see your're in Germany, you have better gas LOL You might be able to squeeze that out of it in hindsight.
