does anyone know what will happen if...

i followed this direction??? so yesterday, i was messing around with the dvd for the nav. i took out the one that came with the 335 and sticked it in my 325. it said this on my screen.



sorry for the bad image. camera ran out of battery.

I went to the Navteq website, and the title for the 2-door coupe DVD is "BMW High DVD Release 2007.1," whereas the one for the 4-door sedan is called "BMW Professional DVD Release 2007.1." Maybe this means they're different? I don't understand why, unless it has something to do with the RTTI.

When I upgraded from 2005.x to 2006.2 to said the same thing on mine. It should load the "new" version and thats that.

if you want real time traffic info, drive the 335, for old time traffic info drive the e90

From a programming point of view, your e92 navi is newer than e90 navi so using the newer dvd software might not be compatible and it might not understand newer comman associated with real time traffic. Just a thought.
