2nd Gen iPod Nano Stopped Working After Update
I just downloaded some new songs from iTunes and was prompted to install an update from 1.02 to 1.10. After applying the update, I took the Nano out to the car because that's the best stereo I own . No worky worky.
So now I'm back online to see if I can figure out how to roll back to 1.02. Wish me luck.

Ok, I cannot find a way to roll back to 1.02. This article says that you just choose a restore option after clicking Restore in iTunes, but I don't get that option when I do it:
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=60983 I'm using the latest version of iTunes. What to do?

Fixed!
After doing the restore (which left 1.1 on the Nano), I went back out to the car and tried again. After "rebooting" the Nano and the car, it worked this time. Next time iTunes asks me if I want to update, my answer is NO.

IPOD fix
There is a bug with the newer software versions. Especially bad if you have your ipod connected to any type of controlling adapter. The new Max Volume adjustement on the ipod is what messes it up. Turn the Max Volume all the way up to prevent your from freezing. If if does freeze you can still just reset the ipod. slide "hold" button on and off real quick and then hold the center and menu button for 5 secs.
