Where to buy the 355i Ipod connector??

I asked the dealership about the ipod connector cable and they do not sell them. Where can I buy one at or what does it look like.

Do a search, there are quite a few threads (with pictures) dealing with the issue. I decided to go with the Monster's solution (on sale on their web site for 19.95 plus 5.00 s/h) as well as a mini din cable with gold plated jacks from wild mart for $4.99.

Works great, sounds great.

You could also always have the dealer install the full new IPOD controller

i too am curious if there is a way to connect the ipod to my 335 for under 30 bucks that doesn't involve a tape player or radio transmiter. Something that will sound good.

Cable from IPOD's output to your AUX In connector under the armrest

Yeah, I think people are confusing a simple aux cable (which you can pick up for a couple of bucks at your local radio shack) and the full fledged iPod controller which lets you control your ipod through the cars interface (which you probably need to get through the dealership).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't the full-blown iPod interfaces cost more to buy and install than the price of 2 new iPods themselves?

It's an option the dealer can install when your car is delivered.

Where on the car though does the iPod itself dock to? Is the docking receptacle in the glovebox?
