Canadian E90s and telephone pre-wiring?

Tried searching but couldn't find a definitive answer. Can anyone tell me if Canadian e90s come with telephone pre-wiring? I just purchased a 2006 330i and was unable to find one with bluetooth / BMW assist so would like to add the bluetooth module.

I've read a couple of posts indicating that the only limitation of adding bluetooth aftermarket is not having english language for voice control, but I've also seen references to kits for e90s with and without pre-wiring. Thanks!

Ask your dealer of your car has option SA 640. If it does your good to go with the pre-wired portion. Or just lift the trunk flooring out. If you have a big wrapped set of wires sitting there (should be lying near the back seat) - you have visual confirmation you have the pre-wire.

All Canadian E90 models have option 640 telephone pre-wire. There currently is not a dedicated Bluetooth retro-fit kit available in North America through BMW, but you can retro-fit the car with a TCU (Telematics Control Unit). This gives you the BMW ASSIST function if you want to activate it but the unit itself is vey expensive (read $2400 CDN plus install and programming!). This is a pretty expensive way to retro-fit Bluetooth in the car. The part will be less than half the price through a US dealer, but you may have trouble getting one. PLease see my other posts - I installed a kit purchased from BMW in Germany. It was about $1300 CDN all installed. WOrks perfectly and is all OEM BMW parts.
