E92 DAB radio option in UK/Europe?

Just finalising specs with my dealer regarding a 335i coupe for late September delivery in the UK.

He says DAB radio is now listed as an option - around 280 GBP. (I am ordering iDrive with Prof NAV - not sure if that impacts the price.)

Anybody have more details? He wasn't sure if it might delay production. Currently showing as available from first UK production.

My first post - great forum. Thanks to all the contributors - the info here is incredibly useful.

It's a £280 option on all models in the equipment list. Not included or discounted by any other option.

Yes it's showing as an option for the E90 and E91 too.
I wonder if this is available as a retrofit.
I phoned BMW customer service a month ago and they said they had no plans for DAB. Typical!

It's listed on RealOEM with no price. Does anyone know if the existing radio antenna will work?

I have just emailed customer service for details of retrofit. I will keep you updated when I get a reply.

BMW's reply to my query re retrofit:

"We can confirm that there is no retro-fit available at the current time for a DAB radio. We would recommend registering your interest with the Parts Department at your local MINI Approved Dealership, who will be able to advise should this become available in the future."

We will, but there are they talking about for over 10 years, advantages are clear, but i think that no manfacturer dare to inform normal radio users that their system will be worthless.

We have DAB broadcasting, I meant will we got it as an option in the 3 series.
