HELP Progman 23, Daytime running lights
Help! Got upgraded to Progman 23 and Daytime running lights are now on. There is no option in my Navi "Lighting" menu to turn them off. Any suggestions?

My are on now too. I havent looked to see if I can turn them off. Did you have problems with nav disk? Mine is no longer recognized.

I would say take it back to the dealer or have them give you the new NAV disc |

Take the car back and tell them you dont want the DRL's. There should be an option to turn the DRL's off but if not have them do it. Everytime I go in and I know my car is going to go through programming I tell them to not activate the DRL's. Both times my car came out without them on.
Although I'm in Cleveland where they actually care about keeping customers. In LA BMW owners are a dime a dozen.

I just got my car back and have the same problem. This sucks alot. It goes on even without any lights on. It looks soooo cheap I can't stand it!!

I just called the dealer and asked them and they said that I had to take my car back and it'll take them about 30 mins to turn it off. What kinda crap is this??

BMW should just have use install our own software. Then we can take responsibility for getting it to work.
I am still trying to get the dealer sort out the previous (v22) upgrade problems.

in no way are the DRLs illegal in California. it doesn't say that in the bulletin. And, in the other CA - Canada - they are required.

Driving with just parking lights on (24800 VC). Vehicles that have factory-installed automatic daytime running lights must meet federal requirements and are legal.
