(ATL) Just had an accident coming from work. Ran on to the curb.
Worked late and headed home. I hit the curb and my rear left wheel is bent and broken. I went on to the curb so, I dont know what to expect for the repair. The place close to me is Solo Motor sport. So, i'm towing my car there tonight. I'm gonna call them first thing in the morning. One thing for sure, the wheel is broken. If anybody has 335i stock wheels, please let me know, i might need it. I might consider after market but would be interested in the factory wheels.

Ouch, you may want to go through your insurance company if the deductible isn't that high. Your going to have to get a police report, but at least you won't have to foot the whole bill yourself.

Parts
For now, I need to replace Upper & lower control arm,sub frame, left passenger side rear wheel & tire, Upper suspension control, wheel shock mount, Wheel speed sensor, Shock absorber and more.
I realized, I shouldn't use my Insurance claim as I have a crappy Insurance company. I'm putting the money off my pocket. So, if you are in Atlanta, if you have any parts for a reasonable price, you can save me some decent amount of money. Also, If I have to change the shocks, which one would be the comfortable ride on 335i? Last edited by gdkalyanapu; 11-05-2011 at 04:32 PM.. Reason: change in sentence |

File a claim and go through your insurance company. Regardless if they are crappy or not, you don't want to pay anything out of pocket that would be more than your deductible. Although dealing with them may be somewhat of a hassle, this is the sort of thing that would be covered, and its one reason you pay for insurance

Well,I called in and filed a claim. To my surprise, the Adjuster called and I gave the information about where my car is right now. They gave me no hassle. Looks like it'll be a smooth sailing
