FTP pcv valve

hey does anyone have the ftp upgraded pcv valve, I installed it on my car with the new pcv cover it came with but i was surprised that the valve didn't snap into the cover or anything like i have seen on other valves. Does it really just sit loose in the cover then get screwed into the valve cover???

The pcv valve has an oring just like the oem, which seals inside the valve cover. Did it have one?
As for the cap its loose, again just like the oem...do you not use that as a reference?
