Plastidip
Anyone on forums have experience with plastidip? I'm digging the matte white plastidip look and I'm looking to do this before Bimmerfest ...if that's possible lol.

Haha, to each his own. Dipping just seems to be a better alternative to wrapping. But in the end of the day, you are protecting the OEM paint by providing a barrier to the elements. I take it you don't like the frozen colors either?

I like regular, shiny paint. I don't like finishes that look like half-assed primer. I feel like matte/wrap/plastidip/etc. is just an inexpensive excuse to "mod" the car, which really detracts from it's cleanliness IMO.

On a side note
I had a subwoofer enclosure that was custom made to fit the left side of the trunk It was leaking air in a few places I bought 2 cans of plasti dip from home depot ($12 for both) And coated the entire enclosure from the inside Let it dry for a whole day (stinks when wet) Enclosure is now air tight It made a black rubber layer on the inside It's supposed to dampen the sound too Not bad for $12

I've dipped matte white not entire car but wheels easy to do cheap as shit but dirty as hell, I saw a CTS-v do it he hyped it up saw him week later he peeled it all off, if u want matte white go vinyl wrap I can point u to a good shop that'll wrap the entire car
