Down to two choices now.. which would you choose, and why:

F20 M135i

Or F30 328i MSport

Now, F30 328 M-Sport... for the size & comfort. Obviously not as fast as the 135M but still no slug.

If I was young and single i'd go the 135M........

Yes, but given that the current 1 & 3 have similar 36 month ratings, why do you ask?

My observations have shown that a 3er depreciates a fair bit quicker than a 1er (in proportion to rrp). But yeah... that's besides the point... it's a new car = who cares huh lol

I say 328i. a) looks a lot better than the f20, b) current r&d for aftermarket mods are already showing strong signs of decent daily driving power (200-220rwkw last time i checked), c) did i mention it looks a lot better than the f20?

I couldn't believe that they could make the original 1 series look any worse...

I would go the 328 as it will perform OK and look so much nicer, and even more expensive.

F30 328 if the choice was JUST out of those two.
Why? No interest in the 1 series (hatch)

OK..I'll open it up.. Budget is $95k OTR.. must haves are:

- Reasonable performance (after all, the 335i is my daily at the moment!)
- Proper Nav
- Not FWD

I've got a 2yr old, but a coupé doesn't worry me as she is rarely in my car..

Ideas? There are lots of cars I love, but they are all $120k+

oh, and should add to that list.. something with a good exhaust note would be a major plus (anyone selling an '07 M5 with under 40k and a BMW warranty, let me know!)

Does it have to be $95k brand new? Why not consider something second had with low kms?

Nope, happy to buy used or demo, but must be current model (so nothing E9X)
