Timeline:

-Purchased the e92 OEM style painted front aero lip from e92-lighting on 05-23-2011.
-Sent a PM inquiring about the status of my order on 06-02-2011.
-Received response on 06-06-2011 (apologizing for the delay)
-Sent a PM requesting to be updated on the status of the order on 06-06-2011.
-Received response on 06-07-2011 (agreeing to keep me updated).
-Sent a PM inquiring if the item shipped yet on 06-13-2011
-Received response on 06-15-2011 (stating item has left painters, tracking number will be provided shortly).
-Received a PM on 06-17-2011 (containing tracking number).
-Item received on 06-20-2011.

Item:

I am happy with the item I received. The paint match isn’t perfect but I attribute that to the poor paint on my bumper. The paint was identical to the paint on my JBSPEED reflector. The fitment is really good actually.. it does not wrap around the bumper like the Bayson R replica. The packaging was decent, bubble wrap and plastic wrap.

Only complaints are the time taken to paint/ship the item (18 business days since day of payment) and the fact that the vendor would need constant reminding (of keeping me updated).

Overall, I would say I am happy with the transaction / vendor (despite the various negative reviews he has received).

I guess the only thing now is to wait and see how the paint holds up...

I've read plenty of complaints about e92lighting... but in this case, where the item has to go offsite to be painted, you can't really give them to much grief since its out of their control.

derrick is pretty straight forward... and obviously he cant paint match if his painter does not have your car present...

as far as keeping you updated it seems he did an decent job minus the first time you had to ask him what the deal was.

e92-lighting has gotten my business before and will continue to get my business
