am pretty new to this site but here we go,

after removing the backbox and replacing it with pipework i am still not satisfied with the sound of the 320, so im planning to get a standard manifold(mot purposes) and cut the 'cats' out,
heres the problem... lamda probes, theres two cats! two cylinders to either one with a lambda probe before and after each cat.
will the engine management light come on when i remove the cats??
not doing this for power gains just noise!! but will there be any power gain??

if you cut the main cats you will get an error. If you want to change the sound why not get a different muffler?

i think he took the muffler out already. catless header will definitelyg give 5-10% more tq, but u gonna get check engine light.

sorry, muffler (backbox in uk) has been removed and replaced with strait pipe,
will the light go out as soon as i reverse the modification?

no. putting your muffler back in won't cause an error.

not the muffler thats never going back on!!!
if i get a de-cat the light will come on
if i put the cats back in will the light go off on its own or will it need reset???
