Very first mod for my E92! [UPDATE 1: Grills installed!]

Yea yea yea, you guys are all veterans when it comes to modding your rides but today I placed an order for my very first simple mod and I'm excited hahahaha

Just ordered the gloss black kidney grills and lower bumper black grills set from Tischer (Hey Evan, thanks for your help!) and now I am officially infected with the mod bug.

This afternoon I will take my car to my local tinting shop who will give me an estimate on how much it will be to vinyl wrap the shadow lines in gloss black as well.

Hope to have pics soon of the minor changes!

UPDATE: Just got back from the tint shop and the guy quoted me somewhere in the ballpark of $175-$250 for installing the vinyl on the shadowline. He said it all depends on how much time it will actually take him to complete the job.

Do you guys think this is a realistic price or he is shafting me like there is no tomorrow?

BTW, he says that the shadowline will look BETTER in matte instead of gloss. He did put up a small sample of both matte/black on the shadowline and I really liked how the matte look. I'm confused now. The kidney grills will be gloss black. The mesh of the lower bottom of the bumper will be matte black, so is a matte shadowline the way to go? Or is it Gospel, that if the grills are gloss, the shadowline has to be gloss as well?

Do plasti dip. I was quoted up to 450 because its such a "pain in the a". Plasti is gonna cost you $15 for 2 cans of plasti dip and tape. It also comes out much cleaner than vinyl that is obvious from less than 5 feet away. I just did mine yesterday and it came out perfect! Took me about 3 hours.
Also if you want a gloss look. Get the plasti dip glossifier. Works just the same as regular plasti dip

Thanks for the tips guys... I think I will save myself $175-$250 and plasti-dip the shadowline myself.

What I can't decide on is whether I should go with gloss or matte for the shadowline. This is frustrating!!!!

Space Grey body with gloss kidney grills/matte bumper mesh: Shadowline should be matte or gloss?

I like that PlastiDip. What about wheels? I was watching the videos, if I'm washing my car and go to clean the rims will that stuff come off?

Paid 100 here in RVA. Matte. I think Matte lasts better but I don't know why I've heard that somewhere. I like the look of Matte on my Space Gray. Can take pictures after work if it helps.

Can you post a link/pics of the lower bumper grille? I just added the black grille, and I'm curious about the lower grille.
