We don't have any proof that even the latest pump they are installing have actually fixed the issue.

I had a similar problem when I installed the JB+

My issue was that I had the device flipped around 180 degrees (not the wrong ends, duh). You will know if it is in correctly because it will have a little bit of resistance. When I first tried plugging it in, it was way too loose.

Check engine light, and limp mode came on, but once I put it in correctly, all was normal. I just purchased a BT tool because I don't want to take any chances. I would suggest you do the same.

No i had mine in the right way and the ride was fine for the first 5 min

I just took the intake out, going over to bmw tomorrow and am going to stop by autozone so that they can do a scan for me to tell me exactly why the engine light came on

I'd forget going to Autozone, they likely only have a generic OBD scanner that won't read the BMW specific fault codes. Take the car to an indy shop that has the right equipment, or better yet order the BT tool. If you just bought the JB you should be able to get a 1 vin version cheap. You have a 2010 model $50K+ car you're running modded with 3+ years of warranty at stake, drop the money and get the BT immediately.

GL, hope you get it sorted out.

Ok thanks

So my dad just took the car for a ride and said he didnt notice anything wrong with the car, car was supposed to go in tomorrow but he cancelled and said to give a few more days

So the check engine light only comes on now when i turn the car on and then goes away right away, is this normal?

Don't take it to BMW until you get a BT cable and the codes removed. Otherwise they WILL void your warranty if any tuner codes are shown.

Was running at factory default, no codes are thrown untill u get into the 75%-100% power range

That's an expensive assumption...

My dad took the car in today, just texted him about an hour ago, he said they where asking him about what had been in the car and stuff. He said that the warrenty was not voided but if it happens again it will be. They said they where going to call later today after they figure out whats wrong with the car. I hope they dont change their mind and void the warrenty.

Your situation obviously sucks but it's mind boggling to me how you are risking your warranty for the price of the bt tool.

I didnt see the need for a bt tool, i was running at 50% i've never heard of codes being thrown at 50%, im not even sure if codes where thrown, they where just asking about what mods where in the car they didn't say anything about codes being thrown and a tune in the car. So im not really sure what to expect yet. When i get home and talk to my dad in person i'll let everyone know whats up
