Ugh....BMW Rear Spoiler Lip Problem

after having a BMW spoiler lip mounted Monday by a well-respected local BMW specialty shop, I noticed tonight that it appears to be separating on the passenger side, and some of the adhesive is now visible at the corner. It looked fine when I first picked it up, and it had the full 6 hours of cure time the instructions called for.

Anyone else have any problems with this? I'm not optimistic that this is going to be fixed easily and to my satisfaction, so I'm looking for any experience that others have had and what they may have done about it...

Did they use betalink or 3m double sided tape? Take that sucker back and get it fixed.

took it to the shop this morning - looks like they used tape instead of Betalink, which they now have. They're going to re-mount the lip with betalink, and that should do it...we'll see later today.

after sitting clamped all night, the Betalinked spoiler looks good, so the story has a happy ending. I'll post some pics when I can.

yea i was going to use 3m but decided to do it right this time with the rear spoiler.
