Loud spooling

08 e90 335xi

So I may be just a little paranoid from a boost leak a few weeks ago,

But I've noticed since installing my 7' FMIC, I'm hearing the turbos spool a lot louder. Is this just the larger FMIC doing its job with better air flow? you can really hear the boost release when I let off the gas too or switch gears at high rev which concerns me that I may have a leak again, but no dash lights or noticeable horsepower decrease. I also tightened all the bolts with an air torque gun. The tone of my exhaust has changed too.

Oil temp is a constant 250*

Seems normal. It's breathing better so it's normal to hear more spooling and blow off noises.

Oil temp 238-250 is normal, especially if it's hot and humid.

Normal. Mine is loud because of my intakes. Cant wait to get a charge pipe and BOV for more sexy boost noises lol.

In the summer I remove the cowl and run the BMS filters, intake noise is pretty loud with that and intakes but I still run DV's so it makes all the right noises but just for me.
