As the title says I have a 335i e90 and after looking at the apex wheel fitment guide I am disappointed about the width I am able to fit on this car. I would like to state that I do not know much about wheel and tire sizing so that's why I am here asking. I was hoping to get a 10 or 10.5 inch width wheel and comparable tire size to fit in on the rear and 9 or 9.5 for the fronts. I don't know what offset that is required and was wondering what someone who knows what they are talking about thinks. I have Bilstein b14 coil overs and the car does not sit very low (about 1.5 finger gap from fender to tire). I am also looking for a flush or close to flush fit.

Here's notes form Apex for staggered 9" & 10"

Front: 18x9" ET30 or ET31 (EC-7) with 245/40-18 tires
Rear: 18x10" ET33 with 275/35-18 tires
Available in: EC-7, EC-7R, SM-10
Popular fitment
255/35-18 front tires can also be used as a direct fit.
5mm front spacers may be required with certain aftermarket suspensions, see below.
Rolled rear fenders may be required to prevent rubbing depending on ride height.
LCI: Sedan and wagon will require rolled rear fenders and/or negative camber to prevent rubbing. 265/35-18 rear tires will also help to reduce the likelihood of rubbing.
xDrive must use 235/40-18 front and 265/35-18 rear tires.
xDrive LCI sedan and wagon must use 235/40-18 front and 265/35-18 rear tires with rolled rear fenders.

What about on a 2009 E93 with the sport package/suspension? I'd like to go one or 2 sizes bigger on the front and rear. The 225/40/18 up front is too small.

what conclusion did you come to? i wanted something aggressive but am disappointed in the space. i have coolers Infront of both wheel wells as well.

I find that 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 fit well on Style 189’s.

72GMC pretty much nailed it. Apex's guide is very complete. When you're wanting to stuff as much tire in as you can, there's no black and white 'it won't rub' bc every setup is different.

Pre-LCI is much more forgiving in the rear than LCI. Front is the same. You can go up to 9" wide and 255 up front safely. You can do more, but it's going to require more camber, possibly spacers to avoid the strut, and will depend on the brand of tire.

i appreciate it, i will have to take a look into the apex guide but i think for my liking i will have to get my self a widebody at some point, i need more concave.

on the rear if you shave fenders you can go up to 295
without 275

on the front 275 with minimal shaving
295 done wih max shaving

you need optimal ET around 40 front and rear
