It sticks out but not enough to bother me. I put the antenna where th center channel speaker goes. There is a metal rod there that I stuck the gps receiver too.

FWIW I shoot TV mode frequently (which obviously isn't Manual mode). If you know what you are doing it can come in super handy for taking shots of moving objects when you are panning or changing directions in a matter of seconds. If your sun is behind you and you're shooting open at 1/125 and pan across into the sun the camera will compensate for the extra light and shorten up the shutter for a proper exposure like 1/1000. If you shoot manual you'll either have a blown out photo in that case or else potentially miss your shot because you can't dial in the settings fast enough.
For a non moving object - yeah, shoot in M if you have any interest in learning how to manipulate an image but to say anything OUT of M mode is amateur. The shots look good Phozenstone, looking forward to seeing your progress in the coming months. |
