Lci rear light coding help
Has anyone managed to code LCI rear lights to their pre-LCI e92. I have taken it to two 'Bmw coding specialists' who have both said I need the newer FRM3 module.
I know this isn't the case as it is possible to go into the code and make a few changes which allows the LCI lights to work with the FRM2 module. It's looking like I'll have to reinstall the original lights if I can't get it sorted which would be a shame... Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated ! |

Update : no idea why it took so long but I was hesitant to believe Carly could code the lci rear lights given 3 bmw coding specialists said it couldn't be done. Moral of the story - LCI lights can be coded to pre-LCI cars using Carly in about 2 minutes..

I think the real moral of the story is that since you were asking for help on how to do this, and it evidently is not common knowledge, it would be a nice gesture to explain how you did it for others' reference.
