So I've installed the last couple versions from Mega, but I'm having a weird issue. ISTA will only connect to my car once then stops seeing my car if I try connecting again. I think with 4.29 I was able to connect several times. Sometimes if I reinstall it will connect again...once. Tried with firewall off. I'm now downloading the torrent version hoping it works better. Using Windows 10 of course. It's seems like something is getting blocked for some reason and I can't figure it out. F30 335i with enet cable.

Curious, are there advantages to certain versions? Notice you're posting some that are older versions lately.

Dude, each version has updates, and you can see them in the app, on the main page

There the latest versions. v4.29.15
I always keep a few older versions, so people can choose.

Hi, and before anythig else thx a lot J0K3R5 for making all this available!

I've been trying to make latest ISTA 4.29 Sedoy versions work on a fresh win10 (20H2) VM in vain, the license was never seen or loaded properly (same problem as someone reported some time before).

In the end, I saw something in the logs about missing component related to RheingoldCoreBootstrap.dll itself or a dependency being not found. Since the dll file was indeed present in the bin/Release directory, I looked it using a dll dependency checker tool. I've first tried with the venerable dependencywalker (http://www.dependencywlaker.com) and opening the dll with this later reported errors because of a bunch of missing api-ms-win-core-xxx.dll

Searching a bit more I found a stackoverflow thread on this problem with dependencywalker being too old for newer win10 versions, and suggesting to use this dll explorer instead:

https://github.com/lucasg/Dependencies

The dll could then be open with it with no problem, but I noticed a bunch of api-ms-win-core-xxx.dll files in the Dependencies directory, so wondering if ISTA was not suffering the same kind of problem as the old dependencywalker, I copy/pasted all these dll from the Dependencies directory to EC-APPS/ISTA/TesterGUI/bin/Release, and bingo! now ISTA starts just fine!

Note that I previously copied the (xml) content of the license file in the registry (in HKEY_CURRENT_USER/SOFTWARE/BMWGroup/ISPI/Rheingold/License ; it's probably not actually needed, but just in case) because I noticed this was missing (comparing with a old but working BimmerGeek setup).

I've not checked it against my E70, but at least it starts!

Hope it helps

I've tested Ista 4.29.15 this afternoon and it works on my E70. Could use INPA and ISTA-D (not really checked other tools for now).

Note that to make Dr.Gini happy (i.e. not complain about COAPILib32v4.0.dll missing dependencies), I had to also install MSCV 2010 C++ redistribuable files (in addition to the vcredist 2019 provided in the Tools/ directory).

I will be deleting some of the older versions soon.
Starting to need hosting space.

ISTA_v4.25.32 - Sedoy Standalone
ISTA_v4.25.40 - Sedoy Standalone
ISTA_v4.26.22 - Sedoy Standalone
ISTA_v4.26.38 - Sedoy Standalone

So if you need them, start downloading.
I will delete them on Friday 21st May

Not possible with NBT. Must pull from Head Unit with E-Sys and ENET Cable.

To resolve the issue. I may just try and download esys to get the nbt 1de file. Not enough space on my laptop have ista inpa NCS and a few others so need to upgrade from 250gb nvme to maybe 1tb. Thanks for the software links by the way, once I format will definitely be using them.
