Yes CJ I second and third that motion about the roads. I live 25 min North of Milwaukee but work on NW side. Between all the recessed sewer covers and buckling roads its a real challenge.

Between that and damn weather I made first car payment on 335IS I had shipped up from Texas, 2011 with 16k miles. Driven it grand total of 5 miles in last month.

Cheers

Also very new to BMW and this forum! Got myself a e90 328i 6MT as a graduation present to myself after college. Now moved to Madison and getting settled.

Hopefully looking to get some solid upgrades on it when this "polar vortex" finally goes away and the salt gets off the roads.
Yea, i bought an HID kit that has been sitting in the box for about a month and a half now.. its just tooooooo cold to spend an hour in the garage putting it in. I cant take these halogens any more, starting to get desperate!!!

I agree. The roads are terrible everywhere, but there is nothing they can do until it warms up and they get a chance to repave/fix the potholes. Just gotta drive a little more carefully for a few months.

Roads in Green Bay are still pretty shitty, but that doesn't stop me from tracking up about 800 miles per week... Those winter tires and wheels work great in this. I don't baby my 335xi -that car is made for this...

Still, I can't wait to get back to my all-seasons... and for this eternal winter to end. My shovels are worn thin from grinding on the driveway.

Me either. Signed up for BMW Club of America and was automatically signed up for local chapter. Guess they meet once a month in general then have half dozen or so events throughout the year.

TC off, Donuts on the cul-de-sac. I've even been able to drift the xi a little bit.

haha! right on! I probably can't do as good of donuts as you though.. the 328 just a needs a little bit more power to really get a good one going.

There's a place just South of the 172 exit for GV. Just past the intersection of GV and Hoffman road. [Edit: It's called Welsing Auto, 2750 Monroe Rd. 336-7770]

I'm in Milwaukee and own an independent Audi / BMW shop. Experience since 1997. Feel free to stop in or text / call. $50/hr is my average rate. fouronefour 4O6725O

This is something you can really DIY, but you should really use a lift. You can do it with jacks/stands, but it is a LOT easier with a lift, for obvious reasons. There's lots of videos on this... Here's a good one.

Spotted in Green Bay

Anyone recognize this car, spotted at Fleet Farm, GB today? Possibly an e90post member? Looks like an enthusiast to me! Nice wheels anyway...

Hey everybody, new to the forum.
Just picked up a Black 2006 325i 6spd... Coming from the VW world (totaled my GLI thanks to these awesome awesome potholes we've been having)
This is my first BMW so definitely gonna check out the FAQ's and all that to avoid the repeat questions, but if anyone has any advice- I'll gladly welcome it.
