Got a bad sensor on my 09 335i. I see one that the bottom is flat with a washer and
another that's cone shaped without a washer?

The cone shape with adapter and o-ring is the new recommended version.

That being said, I just purchased this for $165 and the price has jumped to nearly $200. Buying the updated sensor alone is a better deal with one caveat. The only drawback to using the new sensor with the adapter on the original fuel line is that the o-ring is a point of failure.

Yeah. Just didn't see paying that price. It's an easy job, so if I need to replace the o ring, it's not a big deal.
