M3 Style Side Skirts on Non-M E92/E93 - Any Good Options in 2025?
Wondering if anyone has installed M3-style side skirts on a non-M E92/E93 recently?
I’ve read through a few older forum posts where people had mixed results with fitment. From what I’ve gathered, the OEM M3 side skirts definitely don’t fit, but some aftermarket ones can be made to work - usually by removing or grinding down a front bumper bolt. That said, most of those posts are 10+ years old, and the vendors people used to recommend don’t seem to exist anymore. Anyone know of any options that are a safe bet in 2025? |

I'm nearly finished with my M Sport retrofit project and will eventually buy M3 Style side skirts on my E92. I met a guy that installed OEM M3 side skirts on his E92 335 but they didn't fit well, they were slightly too long. The side skirts don't touch the bumper, it meets the bottom of the fender and the quarter panel on the rear. I haven't read any negative posts but would be interested in others experiences.

Hmm, that's the first time I've read about the side skirts being too long, I thought the issues with the OEM side skirts would be that it would be difficult to mount them flush
Here's a thread with instructions that show how to mount aftermarket ones, which apparently only works on some but not others: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showt...7#post10197747 |

Yes, the OEM M3 skirts will be too long. That is the thread I followed to mount mine. I used a low profile TORX screw to replace the bolt they removed. It is not difficult to mount, it just takes time and patience to get everything lined up without any noticeable gaps. These are what I have, but you would likely be better off finding them somewhere local to you. https://kcetestandtunellc.com/produc...ts-e92-edition |
