E90 LCI 2008 - xenon upgrade problem
Hi have a e90 - added xenon light, on original FRM high beam do not work, looking online was advised to get a upgraded FRM which we did after coding now the high beam do work BUT (both) side indicator / repeater on the wing / fender does not work.
I have spent many hours looking through codes but it just does not work. even had some one look at the coding file remotely they say everything is good, compared new and old FRM files and everything but for some reason it does not work any one had this issue car needs an MOT (annual safety inspection) soon and it will fail if the side repeaters do not work. do we need to maybe do anything with cables or what am I missing here? |

Yeah.
Which FRM module do you have? There is the basic one FRM1 for halogens. Then FRM2 that supports xenon. Then FRM3 Follow me home lights. You need atleast FRM2 for xenons. Did you get the xenons with shutter for high beams or with cornering lights? |

FRM1 (FRMFA) does xenon and adaptive AHL xenon without issues
the only thing the FRMFa is not doing is smooth ring lights
