Xenon headlight retrofit

Vehicle, 2011 e90 328xi, xenon and afs headlights

Looking to do the morimoto bi-led 2.0 projector swap. Never done anything like this before so just looking for pointers or anything lol
I’ve heard mixed things on baking the light to get the cover off, wondering if it’s or isn’t possible. And if I should replace both projectors? (Looking for more light output/ better cutoff for the low beams) Also curious about the mounting bracket for the new projector.

I just test fit mine after paint. These lights were really rough.

The process is not fun. You have to cut them open.
