I have a base E90 325i (build date 6/2005) with manual seats (non-power) and want to install power sport seats from an E90/E91 2006-07.

This should be a doable swap, correct?

I'm assuming there will wiring issues to solve and coding.

Does your car have power seats? If so, it's a direct swap with jumping a single wire to give power to bolsters or lumbar, I forget which. It' pretty obvious which one when you're comparing plugs.

If you don't have power already, it looks like a job to bring it it, and code it.

Manual seats in current car. I've watched a couple YT videos and see I'll need to get a power source and potentially some coding.

It looks doable though.

You make any progress on this? I’m in an area now that has a junkyard with really good prices and I’ve got ahold of the fronts so far. Been looking to see what else would help make the swap easier instead of having to tap into anything.
