Concluded doing PDC retrofit...Works, but no audible beeping sound.

Hello guys

I finished doing the Pdc retrofit. The pdc screen shows up the idrive and it senses proximity. However, there is no audible beeping sound. I tried the mute but all it does is turn on and turn off the music. What could be wrong? Could you advise me on possible solutions?

My car was precoded for PDC, prior to installation.

Any possible solutions?

Well, I finished doing everything. Even the module is already mounted in the module holder. It's finished but I don't get a sound. All the connections at the front in the passenger's footwell were done by bmw. Bmw told me i didn't have sound because I didn't install the signal generator. but my car is an 08, it doesn't need it. so I don't know what's wrong.

I installed the signal generator and connected it to pin 4 and pin 10 of the B5 harness. Still no sound.

I installed the new module the latest one. And still no sound coming for PDC.

No one wants to help me out. I'm going to sell this car because of this.

I did the front PDC retrofit as well and after coding the 508 in the VO and coding the CAPPL to have visual I also missed the beeps.

I found there was also a PDC_type set to rear in CGATE and CHOST module, after changing these to full the beeps started to work over the audio speakers as well.

So that was the missing part for me.
