Not too familiar with the N55 but that sounds about right to me

FWIW I put out 240 ish on low boost map (10-12 psi) with dp's intake, fmic on advans dyno albeit im a N54 of course though.

Great vids mate, all things considered that's about right..

Without extensive BEF availability in the N55 world, there's also that limitation.. add on that that N55's also use MAF instead of MAP, which is another headache altogether.

Looks good!

I have been on the lookout for some carbon trim for my e90 and found this on ebay for RHD. Local seller, however with the wait times I suspect his getting from overseas.

If you don't mind me asking did you purchase directly from a store in the US

I would find out how they make theirs.

I got mine from http://www.carbonfibermods.com/ but I purchased through their eBay store.

These guys take genuine interior trim, lay real carbon fiber over it, then do multiple coats of clear. According to them, its the same process the factory sold M3 stuff goes through, I cant confirm that's true or not, but he was pretty insistent that theirs is the same but they use better clear coat that wont fade or become sun damaged as its car exterior clear coat, can be polished and buffed like your exterior and is super hard.

I'm torn on the carbon fiber trim or keeping the wood grain shit I have at the moment. I actually don't mind the way it looks, its dark sort of greenish and goes well with the black interior.

That looks good from the pics though

Tell me about it. The centre air vent is such a bitch to remove but as long as you didn't break any tabs then good

Also need to post pics

Didn't break any which was good, the trim is covered in my blood, sweat and tears so I'll give it a wipe down tomorrow then take some pics.

Both the front and rear ash tray covers are a bit tight, I think the clear coat is thick and stopping it from opening.

Can still open both by poking the top part and making it move, one is already better, I think they will ease up over time.

Yeah, I had the darker wood grain you are talking about, its not too bad, but glossy CF just looks so much nicer, you should try and look at some in person, also the carbon leather.

Keen to see some pics EB.
Also when i get i chance i wouldnt mind dropping past to have a look at the back side of the standard trim, just to have a look at the clip setup and everything without having to tear mine apart.
I might have someone that can do some carbon molds for us, pending the clips situation on the back

Yeah no problem man, I saw your post about the GTR part you are having made, I was going to see if they can do the side mirror replacements rather than covers.

Let me know when you are free the old dash trim is at my partents palce I'll have to go get it.
