90 Mile straight... I've been down that road, just after the Nullabor Plain. I would have driven a lot faster if I wasn't so worried about the wildlife (Kanagaroos) hopping onto the road!!!

There were none in the end... but not worth the risk.

BOOOM! Nice Mods!!

couple of questions.

1. where is the 335i badge?? its not the type of car you usually de-badge... for obvious reasons.

2. looks like you lowered it. did you have headlight issues? mine are now pointing very very low.

You can adjust them, there is a screw for adjustment at the top/ back of the lights themselves. Just park a meter or so in front of a wall and adjust them to your liking.

It's been a while since I did mine but pretty sure I got the info from the DIY forum.

Thanks mate. Because it is modified, I just found it looks cleaner. It is fairly obvious it's a 335, but I still get people asking if it's an M3 Either way, I know what it is which is all that matters

The headlights (zenons) self adjust with the height, there are rods linked to the suspension, but like woplax said, they can also be manually adjusted. Haven't had any issues with mine.

Great thread PersianPete.

Some beautiful cars on here guys. I have got to get the hang of this camera (Canon 40D). I am sure better results can be achieved than just taking shots on the auto setting. Those 135i shots are absolutely amazing.

Until then, here are some shots of mine.

Keishang,

I love that pic of your car during a run at the Santa Pod dragstrip in England.

Looking at the clearnace between the front tyre and the wheel arch, that oil burner looks as if it is going to pull a wheel stand.

Great looking ride 335iboy!!

How is the maintenance of the white leather? Looks awsome but I'd be S#!T scared of keeping it clean.

With the photography, try going on Aperture Priority, and set the largest aperture possible (smallest f-number). This way you can avoid using flash, and it may get you some good bokeh (blurring of the background) =]

disclaimer - i am by no means claiming to be a photographer with any skill in any way, and am just sharing my limited knowledge with those willing to listen/read

Here is a photo I took of my mates 135i on the weekend.

A photo taken just after I had installed the new wheels and lowered suspension...

I think if you zoom in and adjust the lighting you can still see the coloured stripes around the new tyres

The leather isnt too bad. I had it treated a few months ago. Just need to go over it every 6 months or so. That should take about an hour. Not much time considering. The mats are the thing that drives me crazy. My clothes are usually pretty clean when I get in the car. Despite my best efforts, shoes usually have some dirt and other muck stuck to them when you or a passenger get in. They shouldn't call them "mats", they should be called "shoe cleaners". I swear anything you have on your shoes, no matter how small, ends up on those mats. I usually clean them every 2nd or 3rd day.

Thanks for the photography tip. Girlfriend bought me the camera for Xmas 2008. Haven't really used it. Glad I have it now though . Found the box for the camera, everything is in there...., except for the manual. Anyway downloaded the manual and found some useful YouTube video manuals for the Canon 40D as well. I now know what "Aperture Priority" is.

If i get time over the next few days, I will spend some time taking some practice shots.

Thanks for your help.
