2B2C, malfunction and loud fan
Hey everyone,
2011 335isC: I did an e30 mix on my newly installed JB4 map5 (otherwise bone stock except upgraded charge pipe) and ran perfect until I filled up again on what i thought was calculated as an e25 mix. went WOT, car shook and malfunction came on, loud fan, limped home. Codes were 29DC Cylinder injection switch-off, 29F2 High pressure pump/open loop set too high and STRUGGLED to barely drive. Uploaded pump BEF and car now drives normal for cruising, but with malfunction, obvious power loss and loud fan. I'm slowly filling back up with 91 (ive managed to put 5 gallons in so far) to rule out e85 being an issue... 2EF4 Map thermostat mechanics and 29F1 Fuel pressure plausibility comes on intermittently, but sometimes comes back after cleared. 2B2C no description found always comes back after cleared. Rough cold start and engine malfunction light and loud fan. Water temps seem steady around 175ish according to JB4 live readings, but my JB4 isnt logging (Stays on "starting logging" but never starts logging. logged just fine before). water pump was replaced at 68k , im now at 108k. I'm at a loss ... anyone have input? Last edited by LakerRaider; 09-24-2018 at 12:23 PM.. |
