For the pictures its very hard to compare them unless they are using the exact same camera settings and exace same light conditions. The only true way to compare them is to have 1 in each headlights. That will give a accurate representation.

The WeissLicht must have been installed incorrectly. I thought I read somewhere that even when you think you installed it correctly, it may not be installed appropriately.

WeissLicht was my first AE mod, Lux was my 2nd and they are a lot brighter.

FYI...the only way to go bright in day light are aftermarket corona rings from OSS, Umnitza, or Lightwerkz.

If I was going strictly based on brightness I would stick with stock.

Why not with this e90? LED bulbs hardly illuminate the outer ring, especially in day light. Stock looks more full and uniform.

Interesting. The e90s don't have the updated v4 yet right? Well, I just saw my friend's setup on his e90 with the Weisslicht and both rings look bright. The version you had, had the two prongs right? I read you had to adjust those prongs if it does not light up the outer ring appropriately. Maybe that was part of the issue?

The Weiss actually has a more white look then the LUX. I am hoping the V4 version for my e92 will look good. I can post some pics later this week.

hmm. I installed the weiss the same way that the LUX were installed, i dont think i did it wrong. It is defintely a possibility tho.

I have seen some V4s, i dont think they look as good as the v3s. looking forward to see what you get out of them

That would be hilarious if the V4s were worse than their V3s...I would fire the R&D department immediately! hahaha.

I'll post some later this week.

You can see the difference if you can actually see what I'm talking about. Search Umnitza Orion V2, OSS, and Lightwerkz. There have been plenty of comments and posts including one of mine. I have the Orion V2.

GP Thunders vs. Weisslicht V4s on e92

So I finally installed my new Weisslicht V4s. I had GP Thunders on before so I took a pic before I swapped them out. I have not taken any night time pics but I am sure they will look really bright.

GP Thunders (Daytime Pic):

Overall, I am neutral about this change. I have not seen them at night though and maybe that will change my mind about it, but I am thinking that the GP Thunders could suffice even though it has a blue tint.

I have the Weisslicht LEDs and they light up both for me. Not too bright during direct sunlight but its real nice when sun is setting to night time.

I saw them again at night and they are crazy bright and white! I think I will keep them since the money is gone anyways and I think it will grow on me. The outer ring actually does light up well when its darker unlike the GP Thunders.

The only thing was that it took forever to install. It was pretty tough for it to catch and turn. Tore apart my fingers too.

How do we fix the issue of outer angel eye rings? I saw a new 528 with brighter angel eyes, both fully lit which made my led kit look like garbage.

Who knows a company that sells a product to make our angel eyes really stand out like all the new bmw's on the road?!
