Looks great Rick. I love mine! It's gets more compliments out of any other feature in my car.
Also, my car was recently brought into BMW with ALL of my mods, including your gauge. I was a little nervous, not being to unplug the gauge before the tech's could see it. Turn's out they were all standing around it in admiration about how great it looked. One of them told the body shop owner (who brought my car to BMW) that they should come like that from the factory |

Rick- is it possible for current customers to spray the vents with matte black to get the same effect as your updated guage has? Anything special to do other than clean and spray?? Just curious how paint adheres to to that material before I mess it up. Thanks!

yup this is on my buy list... i'm just afraid of the install. when i was installing the euro light switch i couldn't get the vent guage off, the right side pulled off but the left was stuck so hard I couldn't pull it off, I felt like I was going to snap a pin or something.

the pins are think metal on the left, no way you are going to break the pin I found that it comes off a lot easier in the heat! |

Sure, I don't see why not... just use a paint meant for plastics.
