Bear in mind the different fuse sizes when getting replacements! I'm sure many of you have already observed this, but if this is your first time looking in to this stuff (as it is for me), then this may be a useful primer on fuses: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fuse_(automotive)

My cigarette lighter plug went kaput on me because I was fiddling with stuff in my center console and an iPhone USB cable got in to the plug, a few sparks, and then it went dead. I do appreciate this guide though!

I'm going to pull out the fuse when I go to get a replacement so I can make sure to get the right one.

I've got the same problem. Which fuse is it? And what amp size?

It’s a 20amp fuse. In my 325i it’s number 30. It’s the very last symbol in the bottom right. Looks like a battery.

My cigarette lighter (both) went out and I just had to replace it.

I have to replace one of my fuses for the door locking mechanism but I cant seem to locate the space in the fuse panel that BMW gifts the extra spare fuses seems to be empty in my car.

Is my fuse panel devoid of any extra fuses? Help

The spares are above fuse locations 6 and 7, but yours are empty.
