But on a serious note, I noticed that while cruisin' on a long steep downhill, the car shifted into 5th gear, which I thought was pretty neat, the second I hit the gas, it went right back to 6th gear. Car is still adapting but thus far has been pretty stable. Another happy Alpina user.
Glad you like it...

Ill be taking my car in for the battery recall this weekend, i assume they wont mess with my flash? I cant imagine the battery cable has anything to do with the TCU. Im technically under CPO but i dont really care if they get cranky about the mods, just want to know i can get my car back in tact with the recall work done.

I put together an automated install, so once you get your cable and you have a Windows machine to work from, let me know. I'll get you pointed to the files needed.

Wont be an issue. Just make sure you clear any codes you might have. When you flash, it will leave some codes behind. INPA can clear history also. If you need help, just let me know.

The only reason the dealership bitched about mine was I took it in for turbo replacement and that showed up in the tech notes that I had a non-standard assembly number. So I flashed it back and took it to another dealer and didn't have any issues.

Thanks bud, i figured it wouldnt be an issue. I cleared the trans codes with cobb awhile back and they havent re-appeared, so i should be OK on that front. Im sure the dealer will complain about my mods but im not going in for warranty work so i frankly dont care what they have to say about that. Ill uninstall cobb so things look normal on the DME side, but if they pop the hood life goes on. A few months back this dealer made me remove my DCI before doing warranty work, it was pretty ridiculous.

Just to let you know, some people with newer N55's had some issues after flash. But if you want to try, I can help you and make sure everything is setup.

How do I get ahold of you for a flash? I don't see PM for you. I do have the cable, just need to have someone get the flash done. Only laptop I have is a 1g netbook though. Will that work? I could borrow a larger gig laptop if needed, but would like to just use my netbook if I can.

Just call me 503-679-3538. But, before you do so, you'll need to download the 4.8 GB SP-Daten and if you don't have the space, you'll need to find another machine do work from.

If you have Ahl error, if you clear them and the module is not working correctly, you would get the error again after trying to clear the error. If you want to totally eliminate it without actually fixing the inherent issues with your AHL, Then you can VO code out the option by eliminating $524 from your VO. The other coding option you wanted as to increasing AE voltage to 13.7 is nettodat coding using the value 0C,2C

^ Please let cn555ic ~ Steven assist you with this. He has a lot more experience with the module coding and he's local in the event you need to take your car to him for assistance.
