M sport suspension with the yellow springs
Hi evrybody ,
I'm new here So I will introduce my self : I have a 2012 E92 335I dct M packcage , date 08/2012 which I bought from germany , and when I checked my suspension I found that I have the M sport suspension number ( 704 ) , the springs is yellow but I still think my car needs to be lowered . I just want to lower the car only without harm the daily drive quality. so if I put the H&r sport springs instead of those yellow springs will it make the car lower ?? and since I have the M sport suspension , do I have to replace the shocks ?? or its fine to put h&r sport springs on the M sport suspension shocks ? Just my opinion but I'd leave it alone and pass on H&R springs
Do some reading in this forum about those springs with oem dampers

I did , but i didnt find any thing about the yellow springs compared to the h&r sport springs , all the threads were talking about sport h&r on the sport suspension and not the M sport suspension .

Like a belt matching your shoes, you need shocks matched to your springs. If you install lowering springs your shock's too long. Koni, for instance, will make a shock to match your spring and expected shock length/travel. I won't get into the stack etc. - recommend you go to a competent suspension shop and start a dialog. Also buy a book or two about suspension design to include above. Best o'luck! |

I thought that the sport h&r springs will fit fine just like the yellow oem springs without harm the shocks . Iknow that the best thing is to go springs and dampers or coilovers , but i just want to lower the car alittle thats all .
