MTech Rear Bumper Retrofit

Question for those of you that have either retrofit the MTech bunker or who already had it. The little trim piece (5 1 12 8 040 152) that fits above the diffuser; has anybody ever cut it out? Seems like it could release pressure from below and not look weird.

What do you mean? It would just leave an unfinished gap there instead...

What you're proposing doesn't make sense.

Garage List
You can leave the trim piece out but you would also have to cut the bumper behind it where it mounts.

I see what you are getting at though. Like the GT3 bumper vents and throw some mesh in there.

Mesh was exactly what I was thinking. So is there any reason why it wouldn't work? Has anybody done this?
