DIY - hardwiring an Inforad radar warning device (Europe)
I thought this DIY might be of use to European members for whom radar detectors are illegal.

Nice job Paul..
But what are you telling to the police, if they are asking you what it is?

I installed the Inforad under the dash not to avoid police detection, but to avoid nasty wires all over the place.
Inforad is not a detector, but a perfectly legal warning device that advises you when you are in a fixed speed camera zone. Version 3 - which I have - also allows you to record your own hotspots (i.e. where you know the police hide with mobile speed guns) and then share the information with other users when you update. This annoys the police, but there's not a lot they can do about it, because it's not illegal, just a way of sharing information
