Looks like yours is a Euro job Carlos, like your M3 it was probably based on a factory press car as it has Munich plates (i.e. german "D" plates starting with letter M)
Euro markets get to chose what wheels they can have on most models - if you download the pricelist from bmw.de, you'll see just how much more choice the home market (and many others) get when spec'ing their cars - they can pretty much mix and match anything. |

True, but I reckon EVO are right - it will become a cult car partly because of this. I for one have trouble with the looks but just can't get rid of the "get one" voices for when I next change. I had a 1er hatch and they are so much more chuckable than the 3. With the 35i engine it will be

My mate's brother works for RR, so get preferential 12 month contact hire's, on BMW's and MINI's. He has priced up a few cars - The 335D MSPORTcoupe is £350, as is the X5 3.0dSD MSPORT, which shows how strong the residuals are on these cars, - that is just so cheap, he is getting rid of his E46 M3 to get a 335D.
Guess how much the 135i MSPORT is?

£750 a month!!!! Jesus, the residuals must be awful - definately not on my list.
I did notice in the brochure, that all the mid range figure's are only 0.5 secs different between the 123d and the 135i, in favour of the petrol, something that a map would sort out no doubt, but you still wouldn't get that 6 cylinder smoothness - Still not on my next car list!!!!

Oli That does not add up and I reakon there is limited supply of 135i and they don't want Rolls Royce or Mini staff just taking them all on a cheap deal and hence put a silly premium on it. I have just checked by going into only 1 website FVL Leasing. Both cars Business 2 years 10k pa 135i £570 + vat per month 335d Auto £678 + vat per month This makes sence to me to be honest. I am looking at buying a 135i at the moment as a fun car to share with my dad. I buy my cars cash and this is how I think it would pan out. List with a couple of options £32k, dealer will give me 8% off. say £29.5k to buy. 3yrs 30 to 35k miles in the car. Trade worst case £14k best case £17k value trade in. That would have the dealer say selling it for £16 to £19k so will a punter pay this for the car? Yes they will because its the price of a 1yr to 2yr old Golf GTI. It will be ok to stick your money in It will be good fun to drive Who really cares if it only looks 'mostly' to your taste as it's a hot little number which will be a blast to drive. http://www.firstvehicleleasing.co.uk.../lease-BMW.php

BMW Staff preferental rate CH is based on residuals as is all CH, the M3 is on there and I think it is a fairly familiar price as the 135, I know what Id have - there is a wait though. They like the employees having there cars as it gets there registrations up and also keeps the dealer network full of nice SH cars. Another friend of mine is an accountant there and he gets a new car every 3 months!!!! Im sure he said the Mini Cooper was about £150 a month
Good luck with the 135 Im sure it will be a great drive, but not for me, just doesnt tick the looks box, and I myself dont think the values will stand up againt the 3 coupe, it is a 1 series after all, and once loaded is well into the low to mid 30's!!! Enjoy it, Clarkson gave it 5 stars which means it must be the danglies to drive
