Fuel Pump current too high is what it says. Comes on and off just changed the EKP because the old one was crispy. Does anyone have a way to remove this code from popping up? Ekpm3 n55 12/03 production date

You need "Electrical" help & NOT coding help. If in fact excessive current "draw" or Amps is required to try to meet the RPM "Setpoint" the DME (via the EKP) is asking for (to get sufficient fuel pressure), then (1) you have a fuel pump going bad, and (2) the excessive Amps current draw may have been what made your old EKP "crispy."

Have a shop with INPA or similar BMW-specific software that can Activate the Fuel Pump and monitor Setpoint RPM, Actual RPM, Voltage, Current Draw, Pump Temp, Fuel Pressure & Fuel flow rate evaluate your pump before it leaves you stranded and "toasts" another EKP.
