Same here.
Worse is when it rains a little on top of the film of pollen. Now my monaco blue looks yellow powdered and very sticky.

if you have some coats of wax on it you can just dust it off then use quick detail, but if its been on there for a while then you should prob wash it

Just noticed it this morning on my car. Usually I just hose the car down every couple days before I have to go somewhere. I hate pollen. Plus my allergies just started kicking my ass a few hours ago

http://www.calcarduster.com/originalDuster.asp

The website is cheesy, I know, but this thing works. One of the guys that works with me has a '69 GTO that's never been washed, he just uses this on days he takes the car out. When you first get it, lay out some newspaper and put the duster on top of it (don't wrap it). That absorbs the extra wax on the duster. Best money you'll ever spend.

Black + pollen = green. As a clean car person, I hate this time of year. Crappy cell phone pic:

For sure. There's a time to wash and a time to use a duster. I just washed and waxed on Saturday and I've been using the duster to take off pollen since then. It's definitely not a replacement for washing. I only use it for a couple of days after washing to hold me over until the next wash.

I've never had swirl marks as a result from using it, just know when to wash and when to dust and you'll be fine

I just have to rinse the car everyday. It's really visible on the graphite metallic, not so much on the Tiag. Zaino? What zaino?? Yeah it's there under the green pollen dust...

I washed my (SG) car on Saturday am, and it was yellow again by two in the afternoon. I also did my wife's silver CRV, and even in the garage, it had a yellow glow by the next morning.

I use the car duster. My E90 is sparkling graphite, and I've noticed no swirls or scratches. My prior rides were black, and I used the duster on them, too. No issues. Just wash the duster every few months, and don't use any fabric softener.
