Upgrading Roof Function Centre (FZD) from basic to high?

Does anyone have experience with a retrofit of the Roof Function Center (FZD) basic to high? I would like to add this functionality because of the reading lamps and a good place for the microphone. Is this a matter of cutting a hole in the roof trim and plug and play? And is coding required?

download rheingold or ista and you get all what is in newtis
the reason that nobody is answer you here because there almost no were US cars with low FZD
this is more actual for low-options european cars and 1-series hatchbacks
here is connection topic in russian https://www.drive2.com/l/510471364012933706/
and you'll need to get metal holding frame from someone donor headliner
