Anyone interested in picking it up for their wagon? Figured I'd let you guys know first before posting it in the usual classifieds.
Interested. What are you asking for it?

No power-related mods, I'm more than happy with the current 400ish I have. Valve cover and gasket are definitely on the soon to-do list, just installed BC coilovers last week and I'm getting an alignment this upcoming Tuesday.

It's been an absolute blast, but I am considering parting ways with it. The kid inside of me wants to build something even crazier. Something like a 600whp e91 with an m3 body conversion, or an F81 M3!! Figured I might as well have someone take over this project and drive it before I start cutting panels for an m3 conversion hahaha. I'd love to hear what you guys think it's worth!

Enjoy the pictures!
You guys drive on the left over there in Oregon?

Sweet build! Nice job all around. Out of curiosity, what headlights did you go with? I need to replace mine and I'm looking for a good alternative to OEM. I've got pre-LCI halogen and just looking to get something that looks close to OEM.

Mine are the eBay ones, not sure on the seller it's been a while. They work and look pretty good but the housings are crap quality though, super weak and flexible plastic. I'm going to be looking at getting an original pair of e91 lights retrofitted soon.

Boy has it been a while. A bit of a car and a life update I guess.

I just got a job offer in NYC, and I'll be moving there mid-November. And no matter how much I love the wagon, I've got to sell it.

Since I've last posted, I've refitted the front end with all OEM M-Sport parts, and put the factory LCI halogen lights back on. I'll post pictures soon! The weathers been terrible out here, I haven't got any good photos since I've re-finished the front end. Still missing the front fender liners however, I didn't realize the M-Sport bumpers require different fender liners. I'll be looking for those soon.

Mechanically, the car has been perfect. Did a bunch more maintenance, replaced the engine mounts, transmission mounts, belt and pulleys, flushed the coolant again just to check if anything's out of the ordinary. Cleared all the dash lights a bit ago, turns out one of my rear o2 sensors needed replacing, and I finally got my cousin to calibrate the DSC pump using ISTA. ABS, Traction control, everything works as it should. I even have working cruise control (I don't recall whether anyone else has gotten theirs to work).

Waiting till I get a few photos taken, and then I'll be listing the wagon for sale. If anyone's interested, PM me.

There are a couple different threads on the conversion and whether you actually need to change the fender liners.

Is it possible and the fit and finish isn't perfect or do you pretty much need the new fender liners to go with the M-sport brake ducts and bumper?

PS - your car looks great!

The M-Sport brake ducts are a different size from the standard ones, I thought maybe the fit and finish wasn't perfect, but the holes are completely different sizes. RealOEM has different part numbers for the standard vs. the M-Sport. I could probably make the original ones work, but that's not the way I like to do things lol. I'll end up getting the M-Sport ones soon.

Also, the car is for sale! I've got a sale thread going for it if anyone's interested in taking a look. Moving out of town in T-minus 13 days. I need it gone by then so feel free to make me an offer!

I thought that thing would be gone by now!
But yes, the M sport brake ducts are a lot wider when they meet the bumper.

I had hoped so too, but all my potential buyers seem to disappear randomly, before even coming to take a look at the car.

Oddly enough, they're not just wider in the front, but the outlet of the duct is a good amount smaller as well. Seems counterintuitive, but oh well. BMW knows what they're doing I guess.

Makes sense as that forces larger volume of air in and accelerates it faster to the brakes.

It hurts to say this, but here's the final update on this project. I was back in town from New York for a week and ended up selling the wagon to a local enthusiast. It was an absolute joy to own and drive, I will most definitely be building another in the near future so you guys will probably still see me around quite a bit.

Since most threads simply seem to drop off the face of the earth, I figured I'd leave a bit of closure on this one haha.

For anyone debating doing the swap, do it! It's not too difficult and having a 335i wagon is an absolute blast. All of the issues I had after the swap had nothing to do with the swap itself, everything was just the usual 335i/bmw problems. I will keep the thread open for a week for anyone to add last comments/questions but after that I will be closing it. You guys are awesome, thanks for all the help through the process!

Congrats great to see you got it sold. I have mine about done as well, still finishing some stuff up, painting bumpers and coding. I'm in a couple FB groups and chat groups and don't really post about my progress on here.

There is someone with one for sale in Texas now, he's got his listed in the low 20s a pre lci car with a clean title. FBO car, I'm curious what he'll get for it. There is probably at least a dozen of these out there now.

I'm already thinking about the next project, B58 into an F31, or an E34 project if I can find one.
