Can I run the Stage 3 maps now??

My current mods:

Procede CANbus
Vishnu DCI
AA Intercooler
AR Design Catless dp's
Stock mid-pipes
UUC RSC335 Axle-Back exhaust

Can I run the Stage 3 maps now since I have everything required besides being "fully" catless, with the stock mid-pipes still in place?

Only one real way to find out. Datalog both stage 2 and stage 3.

There is some flexibility with those requirements of course. Just don't use a map that is too aggressive for your mods.

Shiv
By definition of the above you would be a stage 1 car. I think that's why there is "flexibility".

True, but all I have are those little dinky pre-cats still in there... I mean does adding midpipes really make a big difference?

Depends on the flow rate of those stock cats. I run stage 3 with hi flow cats in the DP's and no secondary cats.

From something I saw before the DP stock cats flow at 300 cfm, magnaflow hi flow cats at 600 cfm and open pipe 1000cfm.

I tried stg 3 with HFC but I couldnt run higher UT because even at 100% ic, you can see the ecu pull back timing. I would recommend just sticking to stg2 until you get meth or something .

i cant see the midpipes being as restrictive in flow as the big cats in the DP's. i would imagine that by catless for the tuners, they mean dp catless or at minimun high flow cats with bigger piping. then again i think the exhaust shiv has on his car is from down pipe back and eliminates the 2nd set of cats anyway.

i would upgrade the intake. you will suffer with the stock box. other wise that pretty much is the stage 3 map criteria. minus a catback system. but if you got the rest of the stuff, definately go stage 2 and try stage 3. do some data logs on both and see how they come out.

Same boat here...really not sure which Stage I should be running. I was happy with Stage II, but noticed some inconsistency compare to Stage I..(but better woomph when power delivery is 100%)

Should I stick to Stage II or back to Stage I and up the UT setting? what'd would be the ideal UT setting @ Stage I for following mods?

AA Intercooler
Vishnu DCI
Vanguard Exhaust

I have catless DP, Injen intake, and I run stage 2 at 90% on 93 oct without any issues and no timing being pulled. As soon as I get my VK intercooler I will try stage 2 at 100% and stage 3 to see what happens.

I don't suggest you ever go 100% at any stage unless you are running race gas and meth at the same time with all the bolt ons possible...
