Exhaust Teaser

It feels like I've been talking about a production exhaust for our cars for years guys. I promised many of you some news soon. Well I have some very good news. We have a prototype here in the states

See pics below. This will be a direct fit for our cars if all goes well. (Yes the midpipe is on upside down). We will be trial fitting within the next 2 weeks then about a month for production, then about a month for shipment. But we are close! Enjoy....

Looks nice. Hate to be a person with the wishes when a kit is still in development, but may be a good time to ask: a mufflerless option would be awesome.

Worth the wait! Will stock mufflers be able to be used? Looks like they could connect up.

Nice.

Is that a catalyst in the general area where the SCR cat used to be? Any details on that?

I'm sure everyone will be wanting to know also. What is the price point?

This looks like 3" al the way to mufflers. My guess is that's a large resonator at the old SCR location.

Great job Iaknown (and banished one too).

Pipe location may be close but not sure why you would want this

BBcuda is right about that being a 3" resonator. But its not 3" all the way back, splits to 2.5" if I remember correctly.

I'm currently trying to nail this down. Definitely under a G though which is much cheaper than the other ridiculous systems we've seen offered.

<$1000 price point is amazing for what looks to be high quality work!

I'm assuming this would require some sort of tune, too? At the very least to delete the codes that would be present....

Yea, would definitely need a tune to run this, at the very least something configured for a SCR delete, since this replaces that.

I wonder if you'll beat Tiago and his vrsf exhaust that was suppose to come out months ago lol.

Make sure you post some prototype sound clips for us!!!

Edit: damn, I didn't realize this was the diesel section, I was viewing new posts. Make a n54 version!

Mainly save some cash D. I thought the stock mufflers were pretty much straight through. One of our members hacked one apart. Not really going for sound, just want to dump my SCR to complete mods and keep stock components on the shelf.
